Oak and Ash Wooden bottle plinths to beautifully present whisky bottles from Penderyn. Whisky has been distilled in Wales since the middle ages, but production died out in the late nineteenth century. Distilling in Wales was a lost art. But in the late 1990’s in a pub in a small post-industrial Welsh valley town, a group of friends drank and chatted about establishing the first whisky distillery in Wales in over a century. They dreamt of creating a whisky as pure and precious as Welsh gold. Today they produce award winning whisky known the world over. We are proud to manufacture both boxes and wooden bottle plinths for Penderyn. Using quality sustainable timber, we manufacture these simple but classy wooden bottle plinths in ash and oak. The ash bottle plinth is finished in black with a white laser engraved logo, and the oak bottle plinth is kept in its natural colour, with a simple clear satin lacquer, and a black paint fill to the engraving.
